FAQ – Wired Systems
What does a wired system mean?
Our wired system consists of only a main unit that controls the connected solenoid valve when the main unit's own sensor cable detects a water leak.
When should you choose a wired system?
A wired system is recommended for point installations, such as dishwashers, refrigerators and freezers with built-in ice makers, coffee and water dispensers. It is ideal for both the home and the office, where a possible water leak cannot advantageously shut off the entire main line.
Can I install it myself?
The solenoid valve should always be installed by an approved and qualified HVAC installer.
Can it be combined with wireless devices?
No, you cannot combine wired with more sensors.
Do the sensors require electricity?
Yes, wired sensors are connected to power via cable and do not require battery operation.
Is an internet connection required for the system to work?
No internet connection required
