How does a wireless system work?
VIWA Watersafe's wireless system uses radio signals to communicate between sensors and the main control unit. No cables are required – making installation quick and easy.
How long is the range of the system?
The system has a range of up to 100 meters indoors (depending on walls and materials). If necessary, the range can be extended with a repeater.
Can the system be expanded with more sensors?
Yes! You can easily add more wireless sensors or devices to the same system. Everything is configured via the central unit.
Is an internet connection required?
No, the system works completely independently. However, if you want remote control via app, an internet connection to the central unit is required.
How are the sensors powered?
The wireless sensors are powered by batteries that have a battery life of up to 10 years. The battery level is monitored and notified when it is low.
